PART 1 — GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Parties & Scope
These General Conditions of Sale (GCS) govern all purchases made on www.anomalies.studio. They are concluded between:
- Seller: Iskandar Jani (info@anomalies.studio), affiliated to Productions Associées ASBL, registered in Belgium under BCE 0896.755.397 (VAT BE 0896.755.397), Rue Coenraets 72, 1060 Brussels, Belgium.
- Purchaser: any person placing an order on the website, who declares having full legal capacity.
Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GCS. Validation of the order form constitutes an electronic signature with the same legal value as a handwritten signature.
2. Products
anomalies.studio sells original design objects and furniture produced by the designer. Since most pieces are made to order, availability is confirmed upon order validation. If a product becomes unavailable after payment, the purchaser will be informed and offered the choice to modify or cancel their order, with a full refund if applicable.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in euros, inclusive of VAT. Delivery costs are additional and shown at checkout. The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time; orders are invoiced at the price applicable at the time of purchase.
4. Ordering
Orders are placed via the website order form. An order confirmation email is sent to the purchaser, including: product details, total price (VAT included), delivery terms, payment methods, withdrawal conditions, and applicable legal guarantees.
The seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute, prior non-payment, or any other valid reason.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and PayPal. Products remain the seller's property until full payment has been received.
6. Delivery
Deliveries are made worldwide. Any import duties or taxes are the purchaser's responsibility. The seller will endeavour to dispatch orders within:
- 30 working days for deliveries within Belgium.
- 45 days for deliveries within the European Union.
- 60 days for the rest of the world.
Delivery times are indicative and do not give rise to damages in case of delay. The purchaser must verify the parcel upon receipt and report any damage within 48 hours by email to info@anomalies.studio with supporting photos.
7. Right of Withdrawal & Returns
The purchaser has 14 calendar days from the delivery date to withdraw from the purchase, without penalty and without justification, in accordance with Belgian Economic Law.
To exercise this right, the purchaser must notify the seller by email at info@anomalies.studio, providing name, order number, invoice date, and description of the article(s) concerned.
Important conditions:
- Return shipping costs and risks are borne by the purchaser.
- Products must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect resaleable condition, with all accessories and instructions.
- Custom-made or personalised pieces cannot under any circumstances be returned or exchanged.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method upon receipt of the returned goods.
8. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
All products benefit from the statutory two-year guarantee of conformity (Articles 1649bis to 1649octies of the Civil Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641–1649 of the Civil Code). Any non-conformity must be reported within two months of discovery.
9. Liability
The seller's liability is limited to the amount paid for the transaction in question. The seller cannot be held responsible for disruptions inherent to internet use or events of force majeure.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the website — images, texts, designs, and underlying technology — is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Simple hyperlinks to the website are permitted; framing, in-line linking, or deep linking is prohibited.
11. Disputes & Applicable Law
These GCS are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Parties may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform. Failing an amicable resolution, the courts of the Brussels Judicial District have jurisdiction.
